Siren

Everybody knows that Natasha Poly is a stunning woman and many words are used to describe her and her beauty. One of those words is "siren", which coincidentally is the title of this editorial from Magazine Antidote's S/S 2012 issue. The Russian model (and icon according to the magazine) is styled by Editor-in-Chief Yann Weber in form-fitting fashion from Versace and Mugler among many others. Photographer Jan Welters captured the image.

Mention the words "modelling icon" and a lot of names will surely come to mind. It could be someone from the so-called "trinity", it could be someone who's booked major campaigns and runway shows throughout the years, it could also be someone who's making waves for years until now. Magazine Antidote has a list of who they consider to be eight icons in the modelling world and I'm sure no one would be surprised to see Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova and Malgosia Bela on that list. One might wonder though if other names on that list are already deserving to be called as icons. Well, I guess it's up to you to decide..

The list includes Saskia de Brauw, Lindsey Wixson, Bianca Balti, Aymeline Valade and Natasha Poly and each appear in Antidote's eight covers for the S/S 2012 issue (or "The Icons Issue"). The covers are shot by photographer Jan Welters with styling and creative direction by fashion editor Yann Weber.

Natasha Poly is a vision of beauty in Chanel on the May 2012 cover of Vogue Japan. The Russian model is styled by fashion editor George Cortina and photographers Daniele Duella and Iango Henzi shot the image.

Prada Womenswear S/S 2012 Campaign Video

Prada's campaign video for their S/S 2012 womenswear collection is calls to mind 1950s Americana, only more glamorous. The video is set in a gas station and features models Elise Crombez, Natasha Poly, Ymre Stiekema, Katryn Kruger, Guinevere Van Seenus and Meghan Collison looking gorgeous in the label's looks while driving the vintage cars, strutting down the station or simply standing under the blue sky. Steven Meisel directed the video.

Prada Womenswear S/S 2012 Campaign

Prada's S/S 2012 womenswear campaign is colorful, bold and bursting with energy. The shots were taken by photographer Steven Meisel and features a diverse cast of models that includes Elise Crombez, Natasha Poly, Ymre Stiekema, Katryn Kruger, Guinevere Van Seenus and Meghan Collison looking fabulous in 50s-inspired styling.
