This video from Vogue Italia shows you what models Jamie Bochert, Marie Piovesan, Vanessa Axente, Hanne-Gaby Odiele, Meghan Collison, Julia Nobis, Julier Bugge, Aymeline Valade and Anniek Kortleve did while looking glamorous for a night out that didn't happen. Fashion editor Karl Templer did the styling while John Christopher Alberico directed the video.

All Dressed Up With Nowhere To Go

Have you ever experienced being dressed to the nines for a very important date only for it to be cancelled? If you answered yes to that question then you'll feel for models Jamie Bochert, Aymeline Valade, Meghan Collison, Julia Nobis, Hanne-Gaby Odiele, Vanessa Axente, Marie Piovesan, Anniek Kortleve and Julier Bugge as they're all glammed up while looking bored in their kitchens in Vogue Italia's "All Dressed Up With Nowhere To Go". The models are styled by fashion editor Karl Templer in pieces from Belstaff, Miu Miu, Jitrois, and many others.

Master photographer Steven Meisel captured the images  and John Christopher Alberico directed the video version for Vogue Italia's August 2012 issue.

I never knew anybody who could ride a skateboard in a skirt and make it look effortless and graceful at the same time. That is until I saw this editorial from Magazine Antidote. The editorial, titled "Tulsa", stars French model Aymeline Valade looking cool in prints and textured clothes while pool skating and make it look like she's floating. Editor-in-Chief Yann Weber styled the shoot while photographer Jan Welters captured the stunning images for the magazine's "Icons" issue.

Mention the words "modelling icon" and a lot of names will surely come to mind. It could be someone from the so-called "trinity", it could be someone who's booked major campaigns and runway shows throughout the years, it could also be someone who's making waves for years until now. Magazine Antidote has a list of who they consider to be eight icons in the modelling world and I'm sure no one would be surprised to see Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova and Malgosia Bela on that list. One might wonder though if other names on that list are already deserving to be called as icons. Well, I guess it's up to you to decide..

The list includes Saskia de Brauw, Lindsey Wixson, Bianca Balti, Aymeline Valade and Natasha Poly and each appear in Antidote's eight covers for the S/S 2012 issue (or "The Icons Issue"). The covers are shot by photographer Jan Welters with styling and creative direction by fashion editor Yann Weber.

Numéro March 2012

It's still pretty early in the year yet I predict that either one if not all three of Numéro's March 2012 covers will make it to everyone's list of top magazine covers for 2012. Models Saskia de Brauw and Karlie Kloss each have their own covers while Daria Strokous and Aymeline Valade share one cover. As to who photographed them, it's none other than the legendary Karl Lagerfeld.

Sportswear that is unconventional and chic is what you'll see in Lacoste's S/S 2012 ad campaign. The campaign was shot by British photographer Craig McDean and features models Aymeline Valade, Jac Jagaciak and Joan Smalls.
