Magazine Antidote S/S 2012

Mention the words "modelling icon" and a lot of names will surely come to mind. It could be someone from the so-called "trinity", it could be someone who's booked major campaigns and runway shows throughout the years, it could also be someone who's making waves for years until now. Magazine Antidote has a list of who they consider to be eight icons in the modelling world and I'm sure no one would be surprised to see Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova and Malgosia Bela on that list. One might wonder though if other names on that list are already deserving to be called as icons. Well, I guess it's up to you to decide..

The list includes Saskia de Brauw, Lindsey Wixson, Bianca Balti, Aymeline Valade and Natasha Poly and each appear in Antidote's eight covers for the S/S 2012 issue (or "The Icons Issue"). The covers are shot by photographer Jan Welters with styling and creative direction by fashion editor Yann Weber.

Paco Rabanne Black XS 2012 Campaign

Black XS by Paco Rabanne has always been my signature scent since 2008. It was Will Chalker's smile that attracted me to the bottle first, but the scent sealed everything for me. Now Paco Rabanne is unveiling a new scent that is still infused with the Black XS spirit, complete with a new campaign and new campaign stars.

Sasha Pivovarova and Nick Rea are the stars of Paco Rabanne Black XS L'Exces. See what Sasha is wearing? It reminds me of Paco Rabanne's metal-linked plastic-disc dresses from 60's. By the way, Josh Olins photographed the rock-inspired campaign.
