Karl A/W 2012-13 Campaign

Karl Lagerfeld himself shot his muses for the A/W 2012-13 campaign of his lower-priced label Karl. The models featured in the campaign are Dutch model Saskia de Brauw, Chinese model Sui He and French male model Baptiste Giabiconi.

Dancing In The Soul

Models who know how to move their bodies and create elegant poses based on dance moves make the best models. Well, that's just my opinion, but take three Chinese supermodels and one professional ballet dancer and put them all together in one editorial and you've got yourself a fabulous fashion story. Of course it doesn't hurt if you include garments from labels such as Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester and Lanvin among many others. The models in this story are Liu Wen, Ming Xi and Sui He with New York City Ballet corps member Justin Peck and all of them look in sync and elegant in their movements. Fashion editor Tiina Laakkonen styled for the shoot and photographer Daniel Jackson captured the images for Vogue China's May 2012 issue.

i-D No. 318 (The Royalty Issue)

Six models, one classical violinist and two brilliant designers. That's what you'll get with i-D's 318th issue. After all, it is the Royalty Issue. Photographers Daniele Duella and Iango Henzi shot violinist Hahn-Bin and models Guinevere Van Seenus, Sui He, Shalom Harlow and Carolyn Murphy. Karl Lagerfeld, on the other hand, took his own image with a blue background. Fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood had her cover taken by Juergen Teller while Model Georgia May Jagger had hers taken by Swiss photographer Walter Pfeiffer. Lastly, Daphne Groeneveld was photographed by Richard Bush for her i-D cover.

Manifesto March/April 2012

Hong Kong-based Manifesto Magazine brings you not one, but three covers for their March/April 2012 issue by photographers Fan Xin and Jian Min Shih. Chinese model Sui He had a solo cover while Haoyun Xiang joined her for the second cover. Actor Tony Yang also had a cover shot in black and white. Fashion editor Jonathan Yee styled the three for the shoot.

Karl S/S 2012 Campaign Video

Famed German designer and fashion photographer Karl Lagerfeld releases a new line called Karl. Pieces from the new line is more affordable (and attainable) than those from the luxury brands he also designs for. You can see some looks from the line in this campaign video directed by Barnaby Roper. The video stars models Anja Rubik, Saskia de Brauw, Arizona Muse, Sui He and Abbey Lee Kershaw while Karl himself is seen mixing some tunes and playing DJ.

The five models were also featured in the print ad shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself.

Karl S/S 2012 Campaign

Karl Lagerfeld's new line is slated to arrive this month. The new line, called Karl, is more affordable than the other brands the Kaiser designs for. In fact, he himself shot the S/S 2012 campaign for his new line with help from Trey Laird who acted as creative director and Karl Templer who was the fashion editor for the shoot. The models featured in the campaign are Saskia de Brauw, Arizona Muse, Sui He, Anja Rubik and Abbey Lee Kershaw.

The models also appeared in a campaign video with Kaiser Karl playing DJ.
